Help Shape the Future of Obesity UK’s Online Support
Our online support groups exist for one reason: to make sure nobody has to navigate life with obesity on their own. They’re a space to ask the questions you might not feel able to ask elsewhere, to hear from people who understand, and to leave feeling a little less alone than when you arrived.
Now we’d like to make them better — and we need your help to do it.
We’ve launched a short survey about our online support, and we want to hear from as many people as possible. It takes just a few minutes, it’s completely confidential, and every single response helps us build support that genuinely reflects what our community needs.
Yes, we do mean you
If you’ve never joined one of our online groups, please don’t scroll past. This survey isn’t only for regulars — in fact, hearing from people who haven’t attended is one of the most useful things we can do. If something has put you off, if the timing has never worked, or if you simply didn’t know they existed, that tells us something important.
We want to hear from you whether you:
- have attended one of our online support groups before
- have never joined one, for any reason at all
- are considering bariatric surgery
- have had bariatric surgery
- are living with obesity without surgery
There is no “right” kind of experience here, and no journey that counts more than another. Everyone is welcome.
What we’ll do with your answers
Your feedback goes directly into how we plan our online support from here. That includes practical things like when sessions run and how they’re structured, as well as bigger questions about the topics we cover and the kinds of groups we should be offering.
The survey is confidential, and your responses will be used to shape our support programme — nothing else.
